A woman locked a doctor in a consultation room and also made more than 20 phone calls in one month threatening her over an alleged outstanding debt, according to a writ filed yesterday.
Dr Hui Sei-lee is seeking injunctions to restrain Chen See-lan from harassing her and entering her three clinics in Mongkok, Kwun Tong and Tai Po.
Dr Hui claimed Chen, her daughter and a representative visited her clinics in Mongkok and Tai Po in December and this month demanding repayment of $573,000, which Chen allegedly used to buy a flat from an estate development firm in Shanghai.
In June 1998, it was alleged, Chen also made 20 threatening phone calls to Dr Hui.
It was not explained in the writ how Dr Hui was connected to the money. Dr Hui is also seeking unspecified damages.
