In the world of Pokemon, chil dren can become Pokemon trainers - and the best may some day become Pokemon masters.

This is the dream of 10-year- old Ash Ketchum. To become a Pokemon trainer, Ash must catch as many wild Pokemons as he can, but each Pokemon has its own special powers.

Professor Oak gives him the lovable Pikachu. The yellow, electric mouse-like creature has a lovely smile, shining eyes and protruding horns.

The notorious Team Rocket, rivals to Ash and his friends, are determined to steal Pikachu to please their master and help him conquer the world.

Gengar is a ghostly purple ball with a devilishly cute smile, horns to match and a crocodile spine. Raichu is more powerful than Pikachu with greater elec trical power. Slowbro is a dino saur-like creature with a long tail.
