Two brothers, aged 18 and 20, were arrested yesterday after a car and a taxi collided in Kowloon City and killed a woman passenger.

The accident happened at about 12.30am at the junction of Waterloo and Hereford roads. The 34-year-old woman was thrown out of the taxi and was certified dead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Her husband, 34, the taxi driver, 47, and the younger brother were injured. The brothers were arrested after one of them falsely claimed to have been driving the car, police said.
