I TRIED to ring up the Immigration Department at 8246111 to find out the procedures for applying for an adult identity card.

For three days, I could not get through. It was either engaged or I heard a pre-recorded message asking me to wait. Despite waiting for over five minutes (on several occasions), I could not get someone to answer my call. May I ask the department concerned the logic of having a telephone information service which fails to serve its purpose? WAI KWAN-TAM Kowloon
