Having broken up with his girlfriend of eight years, Takuya Kimura has fallen in love with Kudoh Shitsuka.
It did not take long for a Japanese magazine, Friday , to spot Kimura leaving Shitsuka's home early one morning.
Shitsuka admitted she had been with Kimura, but he has refused to comment. The affair between Shitsuka, who at 29 is the older of the two, and Kimura is big news in Japan where both are superstars.
Sakai Noriko introduced her baby to the press for the first time at a press conference in Studio 246 in Tokyo.
She has not been in the public eye for quite a long time and this was the first time she talked about her new-born baby. Smiling broadly, she told journalists: 'When I am with my baby I feel my happiness increasing. At the moment, every day in my life is so rich.' Following the decision of the band Speed to break up in March, there has been much debate about what the group will do. But the band already seem to have their future mapped out.
Uehara Takako said: 'I think I'll continue my singing and acting career, and I hope I can continue to improve.' Arakaki Hitoe said: 'I am looking forward to going abroad to study English and dancing.' Shimabukuro Hiroko said: 'I don't have a concrete plan yet, but I would like to learn new things in the future.' Imai Eriko said: 'I will concentrate on my music.' There has been much speculation about the break-up, with many guessing that Takako's fame caused friction within the group.
