St Joseph's junior athletes steal the show
Junior athletes stole the lime light at St Joseph's College an nual sports meet at Wan Chai Sports Ground. The two-day event gave the St Josephians an opportunity to warm up in their preparation for the inter-school athletic championships in mid- February.
Promising sprinter Fok Yuk- shiu won the Grade C individual championship after taking the 100 m dash in a record time of 12.32 seconds. The second for mer also guided his class (S2E) to victory in the Grade C class championship.
Sixth former Charles Chan was St Joseph's fastest runner. He clocked 12.31 seconds to win the 100 m. Yuen Chi-to (S5A) took the silver in 12.93 seconds and Cheng Chun-wai (S7B) the bronze in 12.98 seconds.
The Grade A individual title was also claimed by Charles Chan. Form 5C and 4D took the Grade A and B inter-class titles, respectively.
