SCMP Reporter

NATIONAL Semiconductor has announced an agreement with Toshiba formalising their partnership in the flash memory arena.

  The agreement establishes a 10-year partnership in the development, licensing, design and manufacture of flash devices.

  As a result of this agreement, National Semiconductor is entering the flash market with a full spectrum of devices.

  The company will be offering engineering samples of 1 MB, 4 MB and 16 MB flash memories in the third quarter of 1993.
