Saving paper when printing is simple

I USE Microsoft Word for Windows to work documents. Is there a way I can print that document on both sides of an A4 paper, perhaps by printing pages 1, 3, 5, 9 first and, then, after turning the paper over, printing pages 2, 4, 8, 10? Dr K. K. CHOW Central You have answered your own question. Printing odd-numbered pages first, flipping over the pages and then printing even-numbered pages is the way to do it.

When you click on the ''Print'' command in Microsoft Word for Windows' ''File'' menu, a large dialogue box will pop up in which you can specify the number of copies of the document you want printed, as well as the exact pages you want, plus other information.

For example, if you wanted to print 10 copies of a 10-page document on A4 paper (one side only), the ''Pages From To'' box should read 10, the ''Page Number'' boxes 1 to 10, and of three buttons marked ''Odd'', ''Even'' and ''All'', the ''All'' button should be highlighted.

Now, if you wanted to print one copy of the same document on both sides of A4 paper, start the same way by clicking on the ''File'' menu and then the ''Print'' command.

In the dialogue box, insert 1 in the ''Pages From To'' box while letting the ''Page Number'' box read 1 to 10. Then click on the ''Odd'' button and click on ''OK'' to begin printing. Pages 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 should be printed out.

Simply flip the pages over and put them in your printer's manual feeder and repeat the process, this time highlighting the ''Even'' button in the dialogue box.
