GoldenClick lures day traders with real-time stock 'tick' tips
A Hong Kong-based financial Internet portal has launched a service aimed at day traders that offers real-time stock tips based on technical analysis.
GoldenClick.com analyses stock 'ticks' - the smallest movements up or down - and gives instant recommendations on how to trade.
Chief editor Amir Steven Johan said the company did not need to register as an investment adviser with the Securities and Futures Commission, even though the site flashed 'buy' and 'sell' signals on screen.
'It is just report and analysis. Our computer analyses the market and gives the result of the analysis,' Mr Johan said.
GoldenClick.com's system, called ERICK 2K, covered more than 50,000 stocks in 12 Asia-Pacific markets including Hong Kong, Taiwan, the mainland, Japan, Australia and South Korea, he said.
'When the market opens, our system will analyse stocks tick by tick,' Mr Johan said.
