ABN Amro Bank has signed a lease with Swire Properties for seven office floors at Lincoln House in Quarry Bay.
The deal takes the building's occupancy level to 82 per cent and means Swire's new office properties in Taikoo Place have been largely taken up.
Swire Properties said the ABN Amro deal, involving 99,000 square feet of floor space, was the single largest leasing transaction this year.
Stephan Spurr, director and general manager of Swire Properties, said securing ABN Amro as a tenant was significant.
Swire said it expected to make a further announcement soon, hinting current negotiations might lead to the building becoming fully leased.
The 342,817 sq ft Lincoln House is one of Swire's two new buildings in Taikoo Place. The other is Oxford House, in which Cable & Wireless HKT will take 141,000 sq ft on the lower floors while Time Warner will take 133,000 sq ft.
