Christian Dior threw one of the hottest parties this year, with a dress code which called for guests to put on 'hot, wet and very personal' garb. Plenty of people scrambled to get an invitation but only 1,200 were invited to the basement of the Shun Tak Centre, where they were greeted by a wall of aquarium tanks filled with exotic tropical fish swimming among handbags and accessories. Guests lingered at a bar with a counter-top made from Perspex and filled again with colourful fish and Dior accessories, while mini-bottles of champagne with straws were served. The highlight of the evening was the fashion show, with models parading in sexy denim halter tops, hot pants and skirts inspired by hip-hop singer Lauryn Hill. Three deejays spun music till five in the morning.
