Who's that girl? The face looks familiar, yet it is hard to place. Singaporean model-turned-actress and singer, Fan Wen-fang, known by her stage name Fann Wong, has always had that effect.
From her film appearances to modelling assignments and album covers, she has shown an amazing versatility in presentation and look.
She has done it again too, with a new image in her latest movie, When I Fall In Love, showing in local cinemas. Produced by Derek Yee Tung-shing (Viva Erotica, C'est La Vie Mon Cheri ) and directed by Samson Chiu (What A Wonderful World ), When I Fall In Love features a more elegant and mature Wong, transformed into Lok-lok, a housewife torn between her husband and a secret lover.
The new image will no doubt surprise those who last saw her looking youthful in her Hong Kong film debut The Truth About Jane And Sam.
'A lot of people could not recognise me. I think this is something good because I like playing completely different roles in different films,' says Wong.
The Chinese title of When I Fall In Love can be translated literally as 'secrets of the moon'. Director Chiu looks at the meaning of love through the secrets of three women, played by Wong and two other established Hong Kong actresses, Michelle Reis and Theresa Lee Yee-hung.
