At Eastern Court yesterday, Kang Suck-dong, deputy managing director of South Korean bank H & CB Finance (HK) Ltd, admitted assaulting a police officer.

Kang was seen walking into a building on Jaffe Road, Wan Chai, early on March 23 this year, the court heard.

A security guard watched his movements on closed-circuit television after Kang went into a lift.

The banker was then seen urinating inside the lift when it stopped at the second floor.

He took the lift down afterwards, only to find that the security guard was waiting outside with a mop in the lobby.

An argument started after he refused to clean the mess in the lift and the police were called.
