Aeon Credit Service has formed an alliance with Celestial Asia Securities Holdings (CASH), bolstering its presence in the e-commerce market.

The companies will launch Aeon Cyber CASH Mastercard, a credit card which can be used on-line.
Aeon director Derek Lai Yuk-kwong predicted the credit card would attract 50,000 users, helping raise the number of Aeon's card holders to 730,000 by February.
Aeon had 615,000 card holders on February 20, sharply up from 110,000 a year earlier.
An Aeon call centre, established in June to facilitate business-to-consumer on-line transactions, generated monthly sales of HK$11 million, executive director Gerald Fong Chung-leung said.

The company plans to set up a second centre in June in Shenzhen.
