CUSTOMS officers last night seized more than 18 kilograms of cannabis from a Nigerian travelling into Hongkong from Amsterdam. The herbal cannabis with a street value of more than a $1 million was found inside the false top and bottom compartments of two suitcases during a routine baggage check. The seizure, one of the largest made at the airport, was believed to have been for local consumption. A 24-year-old man is expected to be charged today.
