Kidnappers sold 84 as prostitutes

A family that kidnapped 84 women and girls - 30 of them younger than 17 - and sold them into prostitution far from home has been arrested, Xinhua reported.

Police smashed the ring led by Wang Heqiao, a Guizhou province woman farmer. Nine kidnappers and five brothel-keepers were also held and all 84 victims rescued.
