The discount rates are: Shanghai, Yangtze New World Hotel, US$80 and above - 20 per cent off; Hangzhou, Dragon Hotel, $88 and above - 20 per cent off; Guilin, Guishan Hotel, $54 and above - 40 per cent off; Suzhou, New World Aster Hotel, $63 and above - 40 per cent off. Package rates are: Beijing, Jing Guang New World Hotel, $75 and above which includes a welcome drink, check-out at 4 pm, free use of the health club, complimentary shuttle bus service and entry in the summer lucky draw. Guests must stay a minimum of three nights. Guangzhou, China Hotel, $128 (suite deal), including American breakfast, a welcome drink, complimentary ironing of two pieces of clothing, free use of the gymnasium and sauna, limousine pick-up service and 10 per cent discount on business centre services. Xian, Grand New World Hotel, $54 and up, including a welcome drink, daily American breakfast and check-out until 6 pm. All the above rates are subject to a surcharge of 15 per cent, except in Guangzhou, where it is 20 per cent, including the five per cent government-imposed Guangzhou Metro Construction Fund.
