Hong Kong caught up in chasing after crazy trends
1-MIN READ1-MIN
Trends are fads that come and go quickly. Hong Kong people follow trends because they are curious about new things.
People have gone crazy over trendy toys, such as Tamagochi, and trendy foods such as Portuguese egg tarts. But these trends rarely last longer than a few months.
As more people become involved in the market which gener ates trends, the quality of the goods cannot be controlled. This reduces the lifespan of the goods.
