A woman was cheated out of $510,000 after paying for cheap electrical parts she was told she could sell for a profit. The 42-year-old victim was approached by a man in Mau Tai Road, Tseung Kwan O, who offered her a job as a delivery worker. They then went to a shopping mall where another woman approached them to buy electrical parts, which the man told the victim they could obtain cheaply from a market in nearby King Lam Estate. She withdrew the money and bought the products there after being told she could keep the profits from the sale to the woman.
