If you are interested in local history, the 'Streets in Hong Kong' competition is for you. Jointly organised by the Hong Kong Museum of History, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Public Records Office and the Education Department, the competition is open to all secondary schools.

The competition aims to encourage students to investigate an aspect of local history and improve their awareness of Hong Kong's history and heritage.

The deadline for entry is July 14.

Each competition entry should be submitted by a group of two to 10 students under the guidance of one or two teachers.

The competition is divided into two sections: Junior Secondary (Forms One to Three) and Senior Secondary (Forms Four to Seven). There is no limit to the number of entries per school.

In addition to a trophy and cash prizes of between HK$1,000 and HK$7,000 for each winning school, each winner will be awarded a Certificate of Merit and a Museum Pass.
