Second Asian swan

A mute swan has been born at Ocean Park - the first of its kind born in Hong Kong and only the second in Asia. The birth of the cygnet, now three weeks old and in perfect health, comes five years after the first Asian breeding success in Taiwan. The parent birds arrived from Britain four years ago. The mute swan, native to Europe, North Africa and North America, is not considered endangered.
