Retiring land chief to fight poll

Outgoing Land Development Corporation chief executive Abraham Razack is to contest the real estate and construction constituency seat as an independent in September's Legco elections. Mr Razack, who leaves the corporation tomorrow after 13 years, said he was not involved with any political party. But he said he had many friends in political parties, including the Democratic Party and the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, and also in the Real Estate Developers Association.
