I have a Hang Seng Bank bank-in-one account and have a regular savings account bank book.
Because I have a bank-in-one card, I do not need to go to the bank to make transactions. Recently, I went to the bank to get a list of the transactions I had made with the card. However, all that was printed out was my total balance. I asked to be shown all the records in a full statement. I was told that for that to happen, I would be charged $50. The bank did not write to me to inform me of this change of policy about charging $50 to see a statement. How can it be that keeping the right records and showing them to clients are not deemed to be the bank's responsibility? In the past, they sent me a bank statement, if I had too many transactions in my bank book.
A bank should provide a good service to clients and should not have too many charges.
