On the catwalk: Hong Kong Fashion Week kicks off at the Convention and Exhibition Centre next Tuesday. In addition to the fair, which boasts more than 400 exhibitors, about 30 local and regional designers will debut their collections for spring/summer 2001. There are also seminars, the most interesting of which promises to be 'The Internet: WSGN and the future of style forecasting and tracking retail trends', presented by Barbara Kennington, creative director of the London-based Worth Global Style Network. It takes place on the final day of the fair, Friday, July 14, at 11am in Hall 2, Level 5. See http://hkfashionweek.com Exhibitionists: From cheongsams to Suzie Wong to William Tang . . . '100 Years Hong Kong Fashion', an exhibition at the Pao Galleries of the Arts Centre, will cover them all. Co-curated by Tang, the SAR's resident 'bad-boy' designer, it will include original dresses, photographs and historical documents. From August 12-29. Admission is free.
