Officer drops ammo

A police officer dropped a magazine containing six rounds of ammunition as he struggled with triad suspects in Yau Ma Tei. Police cordoned off the junction of Jordan and Nathan roads and recovered the crushed device, but only five of the six rounds were found. The incident happened as police went to the scene of an attack on a suspected triad official by 10 men. The attack victim was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in stable condition. Two suspects were arrested.
