Citybus and its cleaning contractor were fined $10,000 each at Eastern Court after admitting discharging polluted water into the sea. The bus firm had contracted Wai Hong Cleaning and Pest Control to clean its buses at a terminal in Ocean Park Road, Wong Chuk Hang. Magistrate Ian Candy was told Wai Hong workers contravened clear instructions from the companies.
