Pokemon storybook series chronicles Pikachu and Ash's adventures
You may already have heard about the Pokemon world of thundershock and yellow electric lightning. You may already be collecting various Pokemons.
But have you read the Pokemon books that tell you all about the adventures of Ash and Pikachu? In particular, have you read about how the friendship between Ash and Pikachu started - how Pikachu refused to follow Ash's instructions and even gave him electric shocks? Whether or not you are a Pokemon fanatic, this is a fascinating story. Let us begin with book one of the series, Pokemon - I Choose You! In the Pokemon world young people aspire to become Pokemon masters.
To become a great master, first you have to get your licence, start as a trainer and choose your Pokemon. You use your Poke Balls to capture as many Pokemon as you can.
There are over 150 Pokemon and they each have different characteristics and powers. Bullbasaur has dinosaur features; Squirtle excels in water; Charmander's strength lies in its flaming tail. Dangers lurk throughout the training because not only do wild Pokemons attack human-trained Pokemons out of jealousy, there are also Pokemon thieves.
Ash Ketchum is a 10-year-old boy who wants to be a Pokemon master. Professor Oak, the ultimate authority on Pokemon, has arranged for Pikachu to be Ash's Pokemon. Pikachu is about 30 centimetres tall, bright yellow with brown stripes on its back, pointy ears, red cheeks and, best of all, a tail shaped like a lightning bolt. But it may not be the best Pokemon to begin your training journey with.
First of all, it does not follow its trainer's commands, refuses to go into the Poke Ball like other Pokemon and even gives its trainer electric shocks in the beginning.
