Thai goes it alone

THAI International has unveiled the first details of its forthcoming frequent flyer programme, Royal Orchid Plus.

Its special offer will begin on July 1, clashing directly with the launch with Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines System and Singapore Airlines' rival frequent flyer programme Passages.

Thai International had been invited to be part of Passages with its Asian rivals, but rebelled and decided to go it alone.
