Film-maker Francis Heung Wah-boor leaves San Po Kong Court after being acquitted of arson when his new fiance refused to testify. Mr Heung, 54, was accused of setting fire to a wooden door in his house in Kimberley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, on June 23 after a quarrel with his girlfriend, Ying Hong-yan, 20, who was due to appear as a prosecution witness. Magistrate Tam Hop-hon acquitted Mr Heung and ordered bail of $500,000 cash and $500,000 surety be returned. Outside court, Mr Heung said he and his girlfriend now planned to wed. 'She is always my sweetheart, so young and kind. I hope she can learn something from this incident. We'll get married next month and then go to Europe for our honeymoon.'
