Net trading for smaller brokerages

Reuters Hong Kong has teamed with Taiwan's Systex to provide an Internet stockbroking platform to Hong Kong's and Macau's small and medium-sized brokerages. The joint venture, named afe Solutions, would target small brokerages with ASP (application service provider) online trading services and middle-tier firms with customised trading solutions. Reuters will hold 51 per cent of the venture.
