11,000 Viagra tablets seized from cyclist

Police seized 11,000 Viagra tablets worth about $1.66 million from a cyclist, 34, in the Sha Tau Kok restricted area. The suspect, stopped as he cycled along Chung Ying Street which runs parallel to the border, was found to be carrying a box containing 370 medicine bottles. Each bottle contained 30 tablets of the anti-impotency drug.

The cyclist said he had been paid hundreds of dollars to take the tablets to Kowloon, police said. It was believed to be the SAR's biggest seizure of the drug.
