ABOUT 1,000 bus workers on strike delayed bus services at the Kowloon Star Ferry terminal by queueing up and boarding buses slowly during the evening rush hour.
Most of the people involved were dismissed workers; also participating with them were their relatives and workers of left-wing stores. The workers boarded the bus slowly, and when the bus left, got off at the first stop, walked to the terminal, and queued up again. This continued for about 45 minutes.
It was learned that the workers used the same nuisance tactics at all the Kowloon Motor Bus terminals and at several section stops.
