1-MIN READ1-MIN
A man who strangled a five-year-old boy to death, after using a 'precious sword' to lure him away, failed in his appeal, with a judge describing him as an extreme danger to the public. Yuen Wing-kong was given a life sentence on February 29 after being found guilty of murdering Yu Tze-fung at Yuen's home in Castle Peak Road on October 10, 1998. Forty-two-year-old Yuen had launched an appeal against his conviction and sentence.
