Hand chopped off in attack as two killed

Hong Kong landlord Man Chik-leung, 66, is seriously ill in hospital after his wife and sister-in-law were hacked to death by three men in their Guangdong flat.

Mr Man's right hand was chopped off but he managed to survive the attack by pretending to be dead. He received initial treatment on the mainland and was transferred to Yan Chai Hospital last night.
