Dyed hair a sign of teenage rebellion

Dyed hair has special implications for youths. Teenagers are educated today in a mix of Chinese and Western cultures. They are influenced by the Western idea of freedom and do not like interference from parents.

However, some stubborn parents still refuse to be open-minded and embrace new ideas. They continue to use outdated ways of teaching their children. Their children feel oppressed and gradually become angry. They soon become rebellious and feel separated from their parents.

Dyeing hair is a sign of rebellion against parents. Peer pressure also greatly influences it.

When young people feel oppressed at home, they wander the streets. Schoolwork is neglected and schoolmates keep away from them.

With colourful dyed hair, hip outfits and holding a cigarette, young people believe they are outstanding and trendy.

But I think it is childish and idiotic to think that dyed hair is a sign of being trendy and mature.
