A loanshark forced a debtor to rob a prostitute for $200, the District Court heard yesterday. Chan Wing-cheung, 38, pleaded guilty to one count of robbery before deputy judge Anthony Yuen Wai-ming.

Chan owed a loanshark a large sum of money and said he was forced to join him in mugging a prostitute in Yau Ma Tei. Judge Yuen adjourned sentencing until September 21.
