Former legislator Christine Loh Kung-wai faced delayed fallout last night from a question she asked a New Century Forum member in a TV debate.
The Forum also complained yesterday that Cable TV, which organised the live broadcast, had not handled their complaint properly.
The row erupted on August 25 when the Forum's Law Cheung-kwok, standing in the New Territories East constituency, appeared on the TV show hosted by Ms Loh and Allen Lee Peng-fei, former chairman of the Liberal Party. At one point, Ms Loh asked Mr Law to respond to comments that his group was made up of 'rabble'.
A spokesman for New Century Forum, Fung Yee-chiu, said last night that it was unfair for Ms Loh to have used such a term. Mr Fung said they had complained to Cable TV but were told Mr Law should have responded during the forum.
A Cable TV spokesman said there was no question of anyone being unfair to Mr Law because Ms Loh had been asking him to respond to comments, not making a statement.
Ms Loh was not available for comment last night.
