Beatniks, one of the best vintage shops in Hong Kong, has opened a second outlet at 19-21 Shelton Street, Causeway Bay. Bigger, better and brighter than its Tsim Sha Tsui sister (Rise Commercial Building, 5-11 Granville Circuit), the new store specialises in old stock from the United States and Japan: lumberjack shirts ($80-$240), army jackets ($550), '50s suits (about $500) and all sorts of jeans (from $250) are organised in orderly racks and along walls. And that's not all you'll find: each month, shopkeeper Kee Lau will showcase a different designer scooter, starting with this Italian beauty (pictured) that costs $28,000 - perfect for posing around the parking lot next to the shop.

Embroidered with all sorts of spiritual symbols - including lotus flowers, yoga positions and the 'om' sign - the line includes camisoles ($140),
