Police have shifted the bail reporting date for 16 people arrested over the right-of-abode protest on June 26 from October 18 to October 25 or later after the Department of Justice said it needed more time to study the case.
The 16 - seven students, eight abode-seekers and Tsang Kin-shing, who lost his bid for election to the Legislative Council last month - were arrested for offences including joining or helping to organise an illegal assembly.
