Movies from Austria, Germany and Switzerland will be in the spotlight at the Max! 2000 film festival from November 3 to 29. The opening ceremony on November 3 will be held at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (1 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai), and will be dotted with international and local film stars and directors. Live bands, dance performances and a fashion show will feature; and Austrian champagne, German beer and Swiss wine will be served.
