Prostitution 'solution'
1-MIN READ1-MIN
More women had become prostitutes because of the economic downturn and the solution was to allow them to operate like normal businesses, RTHK's City Forum was told. According to figures provided by Zi Teng - a body for sex workers' rights - about 200,000 women are prostitutes in Hong Kong. '[Normalisation] can help prostitutes protect themselves, so they can ask for condoms to be used or call police if they are attacked,' Zi Teng spokeswoman Yim Yuet-lin said.
