OFFICE rental in Tsim Sha Tsui rose 1.6 per cent to $38.77 a square foot last month, according to a report conducted by Collins Surveyors.
The report said leasing had remained active last month, and the overall vacancy rate had fallen to 1.85 per cent, from April's 3.13 per cent.
The survey covers 28 selected prime buildings in the east, west and central of Tsim Sha Tsui, with a total gross floor area of 6.21 million sq ft.
The biggest rise in rental was registered in the central area, where monthly rents grew 2.2 per cent to $40.21, with a vacancy of 1.06 per cent.
The rates in the east averaged $38.31, up 1.9 per cent from April. The vacancy rate was 2.69 per cent.
In the west, rents edged up one per cent to $38.95, with a vacancy of 1.26 per cent.
