Constable suspended in peeping probe

A policeman arrested for allegedly using binoculars to peep at people on a Sha Tin public housing estate has been suspended from duty while his case is investigated, a police spokeswoman said yesterday.

The 26-year-old constable, attached to Marine South division, was arrested for criminal damage, forging an official document and impersonating a police officer by pretending to be on duty at the time of his alleged offence. He was arrested at his flat in Jatmin Estate, Sha Tin, on Sunday.
