Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng and Zhang Zhiyi, who starred in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Maggie Cheung Man-yuk, the star of In The Mood For Love, and Sammi Cheng Sau- man, who starred in Needing You, have been nominated for the Best Actress Award of Taiwan's Golden Horse Awards.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has been nominated for a record 13 awards.
Yeoh said she was pleased to be nominated but it was a pity that Chow Yun-fat had not been nominated for the Best Actor Award.
There is speculation that Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon will be on this year's Oscars list.
