The annual Hong Kong Business Awards, established by DHL International (HK) and the South China Morning Post, recognise significant contributions made by individuals and companies in expanding Hong Kong's economic viability and global stature, while also helping to keep alive the city's entrepreneurial spirit.
Winners of the past 10 years reflect outstanding achievements and entrepreneurship.
DHL International (HK) chairman, Po Chung, notes that this year's award winners 'represent a sampling of both old and new and a mixture of the two; a recipe, which will probably create the platform for the way business is done in the 21st century'.
Robert Keatley, Editor of the South China Morning Post , observes that those being honoured through the prestigious awards are individuals and companies that have demonstrated the industrious spirit of Hong Kong and the ability to adapt effectively to the challenges of a changing world.
