Pacific Century CyberWorks has moved William Cheung Kam-hung, chief operation officer of the Asian business-to-consumer division, to the post of chief operation officer for the PCCW Group. Jeffrey Bowden, executive vice-president of strategic integration, also has joined the board of directors. Mr Bowden, who joined PCCW in late September, previously was a vice-president of corporate strategy and assurance for Nynex in the United States.
EventClicks, an online event-management service, has promoted Liza Sheung to vice-president for operations. Ted Suen has been promoted to director of sales for Asia. Kenneth Co has been named vice-president for events management. Mr Co previously was with Global Events Marketing Services.
Viewlocity, a provider of software for e-business networks, has made two senior appointments. Jeff Cashman has been named president of Asia-Pacific operations and Anders Berglund as senior vice-president for global strategy.
ImGO, which focuses on Asia's wireless Internet and whose major shareholders include Ericsson and Hutchison Whampoa, has appointed William Ping Tai as an independent, non-executive director.
Palmchip, a developer of configurable semiconductor platforms, has appointed John Cobb as chief financial officer. Mr Cobb previously was with Quantum as chief financial officer of the hard-disk-drive group.
