A father-of-two who strangled his teenage live-in lover at their home and set the corpse on fire was jailed for 10 years. Madam Justice Clare-Marie Beeson jailed Lau Ka-ning, 29, in the Court of First Instance for killing Lau Po-yi, 17, in Lek Yuen Estate, Sha Tin, on December 19 last year. He admitted manslaughter by reason of provocation.
