Road project 'too noisy'

The Government has withdrawn a funding request to improve Castle Peak Road after lawmakers said it would be too noisy and should include a cycle path. Funding of $3.76 billion had been sought to widen the road near Sham Tseng. The Government will discuss the project with Tsuen Wan District Council.
