Hong Kong start-up iXon International aims to cash in on Asia's growing demand for network solutions, spending US$200 million over five years in Greater China and beyond.
The company claims to be the first to bring intelligent network support and software for high-speed networks to Asia.
Company executives said they had created a platform and were looking for United States technology partners. The platform, iNorm, allows all sectors of a network to communicate with ease.
'We develop our own modules and our own technology in Hong Kong,' said iXon chief executive Wilson Yuen.
North American companies had yet to provide a similar over-arching product in the region, the executives added.
'Most of the people working in this area are doing it bit by bit,' Mr Yuen said.
