Former directors of Hui Hon Contractors, Chan Kwong-yee, 46, and Tom Yiu Yiu-man, 44, and former site agent Li Wai-hung, 44, were charged yesterday in connection with substandard piling at two Home Ownership Scheme housing blocks at Yuen Chau Kok, Sha Tin.

The three face a joint charge, brought by the Independent Commission Against Corruption, of conspiring to defraud the Hong Kong Housing Authority. They will appear in Sha Tin Court this morning.
